Forever is a Long Time...

...and I couldn't be more excited!

As many of you know, this past week has been super busy! Friday afternoon Kenz, Deb, Craig, and I flew out to Minneapolis. We came home and dropped our bags off, then went to B-Dubs (Buffalo Wild Wings for those of you not fortunate enough to have this place near you) for dinner, then came home and played games until around 1am.

Saturday was the sealing, and it was honestly the most perfect day of my entire life! Breia and Alyssa came over and Breia did my hair and makeup while we chatted and Lyss snapped some photos. Kenz and I left for the temple at 11am, got ready, and sat in the Celestial Room for about half an hour. I have never seen my husband look as handsome as he did sitting there waiting for me in the Lord's House. The sealing was beautiful. So many great friends came to support us, but as I was sitting there, I realized I wouldn't have cared if it was only our families (including Ethan) who were there. I bawled like a baby and luckily didn't ruin my beautiful makeup :) Afterward, Alyssa took some pictures for a bit. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day and I can't wait to see the pictures! I LOVE Alyssa's work. After we left, Kenz and I were starving and stopped for lunch at Wendy's and it has NEVER TASTED SO DELICIOUS! (We don't have Wendy's in Moses Lake.) We went home and took a 3 hour nap, then left with the whole family to go to Osaka Japanese Grill, a hibachi place. For those of you who don't know, hibachi is where they cook the food right in front of you on a huge grill and the chef does a bunch of tricks with the food and kind of puts on a show. It's awesome. It was a special occasion, so we were allowed to order a stir fry of lobster, filet mignon, scallops, and shrimp. Mmmmmmmm. We also celebrated Deb's birthday (which is today) and she had to put on this huge Japanese mask while the world's catchiest birthday song played. We went home stuffed and played more games. Both Mackenzie and I agree that it was the best day of our lives so far.

The rest of the weekend we played games, ate, laughed, etc. Yesterday the Morrisons left (including my hubster), and today we took Ethan to the airport. Right now he's in the MTC, going to bed in T-Minus 3 minutes!

This week has been the most amazing ever and I promise to update more! (Temple pics coming soon!)
